P.J. Heussner is a recent MMJ graduate from Sam Houston State University. In college, P.J. led the KSHU Cable Channel 7 news as the main anchor for two years, and received the ‘Best Student Newscast’ award at the Heatwave Film Festival.  Before her time in college, she competed in high school speech and debate tournaments across the country, becoming a nationally award-winning public speaker. Born and raised in Houston, P.J. is excited to come back to her roots in Waco where much of her family is from.  Amidst so much uncertainty in the world, P.J. is certain that you can rely on her to deliver factual news that reflects her strong sense of ethics in journalism.
