Hi, I’m Zavian Colon. Thank you for welcoming me to Central Texas. I am from New Jersey and I attended The University at Albany in New York and graduated in May 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Atmospheric Science and a minor in Broadcast Meteorology.  I am very excited to join the FOX44 Storm Team. I love the weather and all of the components of it. My love for weather started at a young age when Hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey in 2012.  I almost got hit by a telephone poll because of the superstorm and from that point on I was hooked on meteorology.
