WACO, TX — The last time the Rangers had the No. 2 overall pick was in 1974, and they drafted Tommy Boggs, a prep pitcher out of Lanier High School in Austin, Texas. Almost 50 years later, with the No.2 overall the, the Rangers select RHP Jack Leiter, out of Vanderbilt.
