$134,000 in cell phones missing, police investigate

Copperas Cove Police are looking into the disappearance of thousands of dollars worth of cell phones from a Sprint store in their city.

Policxe say they got a call Thursday from the store at 210-B  Constitution Drive concerning the loss.

Store employees told police the loss was discovered during a routine inventory that was begun in December.

They say it appears the phones disappeared over an unspecified period of time with the total loss estimated at $134,000.

Police say they are investigating the circumstances and no arrests have been made as of Friday morning.
