Hundreds of students at Baylor University are taking part in a nearly 90-year tradition on Tuesday.
Dia Del Oso, or “Day of the Bear,” is a day where students get the day off from classes to enjoy the outdoors and participate in some pretty fun activities.
The event features everything from a petting zoo, inflatables, a Ninja Warrior course and a DJ booth. Organizers hope the annual tradition lives on for many years to come.
“It’s just really cool to kind of see it all come together,” says 2019 Chair Mikayla Jordan. “Like, I’m really proud of this club and I’m really proud of what we’ve done for these students, and I just really hope they like it.”
The events last until about 9:00 p.m.
