Bryan double murder suspect arrested

A double murder suspect on the run for months was arrested on Thursday afternoon.

A cooperative effort between the Bryan Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, USMS and Burleson County yielded the arrest of 29-year-old Frankie Lee Bell, Jr. in Caldwell.

He was talked out of a house after a standoff.

Investigators say Bell and Marcus Ray went to a home on Frankfort Street to Rob Terant and Dominque Franklin.

They say Bell and Ray held the brothers and two other people at gunpoint before shooting and killing the Franklins.

A third person was injured and the fourth ran out of the house carrying two children.

Police arrested Ray a few days after the shootings.

Bell faces two murder charges and two aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
