The Waco Fire Department reports two employees of the Church’s Fried Chicken in east Waco complained of back injuries after a car hit the restaurant late Wednesday afternoon.
Fire units were dispatched to the restaurant at Clifton Street and Waco Drive at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday and found the car had hit the building in front of the drive up window.
Their report mentioned brick and possible structural damage to the building with city inspectors set to check out the building Thursday.
Two employees were near the window when the car hit and were complaining of back pain and were transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the car was not hurt.
