Independence Day is here, and there are several festivities throughout Central Texas!

Waco’s Touchdown Alley will be hosting their Fourth of July Celebration from 5:00 p.m. –  9:15 p.m.

The Greater Waco Baptist Church will be hosting their Fourth of July BBQ & Bluegrass Blowout from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The church is located on 912 E Loop 340.

If you’re in Temple, be sure to head over to Miller Park for the Fourth of July All-American Family Fun Fest starting at 4:00 p.m. The address is 1919 N 1st Street, and the event is free to the public.

The City of Belton will be hosting a special parade, which includes a concert and fireworks! The parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. near Schoepf’s Bar-B-Que, with the other festivities lasting from 6:00 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.

Fort Hood’s Independence Day Celebration will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Fort Hood Stadium. The event will feature live music, food and beverage vendors, family fun and fireworks. There will be children’s activities, and performances by artists including Phillip Phillips. There are also H-E-B cart races, working dog demonstrations and patriotic salutes. The event will culminate with a fireworks display from 9:30 to 10:00 p.m. You can also watch the fireworks from the Central Texas College campus!

The Robertson Avenue Baptist Church in Copperas Cove will host their third annual Picnic on the Grounds event from noon until 4:00 p.m. at 305 E. Robertson Avenue. There will be food, games, a bounce house and a chili cook-off.

The City of Mart’s Fourth of July Community Parade will start lining up on Texas Avenue at 10:00 a.m.. and the event will start at 10:30 a.m.
