There is a new king and queen of Waco’s Cottonland Castle.
Chip and Joanna Gaines bought the 6,700 square foot fixer upper. A spokesperson for Magnolia says the couple have been fans of the castle for years and tried to buy it before.
There is no word yet on the future plans for the castle – other than completing its restoration.
Construction of the castle took 23 years and ended in 1913. It has sat empty for most of the last two decades.
