Coca-Cola looking for tax deal from Waco

The Waco City Council will take up a plan to give the Coca-Cola Company a deal on taxes in exchange for $30 million of personal property improvements.

The beverage company says the plan will help keep more than 300 jobs at the Imperial Drive plant and add at least 20 more.

The council will discuss the plan with the city manager on Tuesday.
