The College Station Police Department is investigating incidents in the area of Holleman Drive South and Harvey Mitchell Parkway South.
The incidents have been occurring during the early morning hours, and involve residences where the front door was left unlocked. The suspect would enter a residence through the unlocked front door, remain inside for an unspecified period of time and then flee once observed by a resident.
No items have been reported stolen in any of these incidents, and no injuries have been reported.
The suspect has been described as an African-American man between 5’6” and 5’10” tall, in his 20’s, with a medium build and a muscular/fit frame.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person committing these offenses. If anyone observes or has recently observed any suspicious activity in this area, to contact the police department.
In the meantime, citizens can assist the police department by following basic safety procedures:
· Locking all doors and windows to your residence
· Remaining observant of your surroundings
· Report anything that looks out of the ordinary
