Cove massage parlor raided, 4 arrested


Copperas Cove police report four arrested on a variety of charges following a raid on a Cove massage parlor.

Members of the Copperas Cove Police Department, Bell County Organized Crime Unit, Coryell County Sheriff’s Office, the Attorney General’s Office and Immigration and Custom Enforcement ( ICE) served a search warrant at Great Massage at 2520-A East Business Highway 190 on Thursday.

Police began their investigation after receiving a tip from a concerned citizen that prostitution was occurring at the business.

The warrant was served at 1:58 p.m., with four arrests for promotion of prostitution, prostitution, and resisting arrest.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests may be made for their involvement in the operation.

This arrested included Shareef Raekon Ali Barnett charged with resisting arrest and prostitution, Kelvin Scott John  charged with promotion of prostitution,  Xiuyun Hu John charged with prostitution and Hong Shun John charged with promotion of prostitution.
