A 25 year old Cameron man has been arrested following a weekend search warrant served at a Cameron home.
Jesse Ray Westbrook was held on charges of possession of cocaine in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
Westbrook was arrested following determining what the materials were that were found.
Officers had obtained a search warrant from Milam County District Judge John Youngblood as part of an ongoing investigation into narcotics trafficking in the area of the home.
They served the warrant at 5:45 a.m. Saturday at the home in the 1700 block of West 4th Street.
In addition to cocaine and marijuana, officers also recovered firearms and ammunition inside the residence.
The ” drug free zone” finding was made when it was determined the home was less that 1,000 feet from Cameron Agricultural Farm which is owned and operated by the Cameron Independent School District.
