One brewing company is offering a taste of their new fall beers in exchange for diaper donations.
Brotherwell Brewing will host Bottoms Up for Babies on Tuesday, September 25 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Bring a package of diapers or give a monetary donation to the organization and enjoy Brotherwells’ early fall brews for only $2. Helberg BBQ will be on site to serve delicious treats while you enjoy a local pint.
Bottoms up for Babies helps the Waco Diaper Bank and kicks off Diaper Need Awareness Week. September 24 – 30 is Diaper Need Awareness Week, an annual national event which draws attention to diaper need nationwide.
Diaper need affects one in three families in the U.S. The cost of diapers impacts the psychological and physical health of children in families. No federal or state programs help parents provide diapers for their children. Diaper Banks serve communities by helping families access diapers.
The Waco Diaper Bank was founded in 2015. It is dedicated to providing diapers to Waco and McLennan county families in need. Babies and toddlers in our communities have found a clean, reliable supply of diapers for a healthy and comfortable quality of life. In September, the Waco Diaper Bank distributed its 100,000th diaper!
Bottoms Up for Babies helps the Waco Diaper Bank serve more children in the Waco Community.
If you cannot make it to Bottoms Up for Babies, the Waco Diaper Bank will be at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market on September 29 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. to accept donations of diapers and to raise awareness.
