The Texas Lottery Commission has announced that a resident of Fairfield has claimed a second-tier Powerball prize worth $1 million for the drawing held on June 23.

The ticket was purchased at H-E-B Food Store 672 located at 1821 South Valley Mills Drive in Waco.

The winner has chosen to remain anonymous.

The winning Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn ( 16-29-43-45-56) but not the red Powerball number which was 25.

Powerball jackpots start at $40 and roll until the jackpot is won.

Players win the jackpot by matching five numbers from a field of 69 numbers and one Powerball number from a field of 26 numbers.
