Gatesville stands strong on Fourth of July

The City of Gatesville is standing tall this Independence Day.

A Fourth of July parade took off from Faunt Le Roy Park on Wednesday morning.

The victims of the Coryell Memorial Hospital explosion were still on the minds of many attendees.

Parade participants wore red shirts with hearts on them in addition to the words “Gatesville,” “Gatesville Strong” and the hospital’s name.

Coryell Memorial Healthcare System staff wore these shirts, but the shirts in red showed how united they are as an organization and a community.
