An 18-year-old Waco woman is being held in the McLennan County jail on charges she stabbed her 21-year-old girlfriend during a domestic disturbance Sunday morning.

Queen Zurieh Rolic Jackson has been charged with aggravated assault family violence and is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond.

Officers were called to a unit of the apartments at 3416 West Brookview Drive at 12:30 a.m. Sunday on a reported stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old woman bleeding from a stab wound she told officers occurred during an argument with her girlfriend.

Police say property was damaged in the home and a knife was pulled and the victim attacked.

A third person in the apartment pulled the assailant away from the victim, with the 18-year-old Jackson taking her two children and leaving.

While officers were still there conducting their investigation, Jackson returned to the apartment and was arrested without incident.

The suspect’s children were released to her mother who had come back to the scene with her.
