Indictment filed against man believed to be connected to police chase

Indictments have been filed against two men believed to be connected to a police chase last May.

Dravodric Johnson faces eight counts of aggravated assault against a public servant. Investigators say Johnson stole a truck near 7th Street and Trice Avenue after hiding underneath it and waiting for the owner to get in.

The owner told FOX44 News he fought against the thief, but eventually fell off. Police say Johnson hit two police cars and attempted to run over nine officers. They caught him after the truck stalled out.

Another suspect in the case faces a theft charge.
