The Lady Bears beat the Oregon Ducks 72-67 on Friday night.
The Lady Bears went on an 8-0 run in the first quarter, to lead 12-11, and finished the first quarter on top 19-15. Oregon was quick to answer back in the second quarter, and gained momentum heading into the half leading 34-33, after Sabrina Ionescu’s four point play, making her shot from downtown, drawing the foul, and making the free throw.
In the third quarter, Oregon got into a rhythm from the three point range, and the Lady Bears stayed hot from the paint, for Baylor to lead 56-55 concluding the third quarter. The fourth quarter was just as competitive, with both teams switching leads multiple times. Chloe Jackson came through with a key layup to lead 69-67.
