A 32-year-old Bryan man is being held on burglary charges after police say a group of men scared off from one home was found to have hit another home earlier.
Police were called at 11:09 p.m. Thursday to the 900 block of Munson Avenue on a report of possible suspicious activity.
The caller told police that a group of three men rang their doorbell late at night, but then ran off when the porch light came on.
They were able to give officers a good description and when officers searched the area they located a group matching the descriptions given a short distance away.
When police tried to talk with the men, they ran.
Two got away, but after a short foot chase, one was taken into custody.
That person was found carrying property that, after an investigation, was found to be stolen from a house in the 1100 block of Marsteller Avenue, near the initial call.
Police arrested the man, identified as 32-year-old Tyrone Costillo Stone Taylor, on charges of burglary of a habitation and evading detention.
He was taken to the Brazos County jail while the investigation into the identity of the other two men was ongoing Friday.
