The Department of Public Safety have listed a Madison County man as its featured most wanted fugitive for the month of September with the reward offered for Jared Luke Langley set at $12,500.
The DPS says that the 36-year-old Langley has ties to the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas gang and that he is wanted for parole violation, burglary, theft, evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver or manufacture.
The increased reward is for tips received during the month of September that lead to his capture.
Langley has ties to the city of Midway in Madison County, which was his last known address, as well as to Montgomery County.
In July 2016, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for Langley’s arrest for parole violation.
That month, Langley eluded capture by law enforcement authorities after he fled on foot.
Langley is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds.
He has numerous tattoos on his abdomen, back, both arms and both legs, as well as scars on his abdomen, head and left wrist.
He may be known by the nicknames ” Twisted” or ” Twist.”
The original offense for which he was on parole was for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
His criminal history includes assault, possession of controlled substance, driving while intoxicated-three or more, terroristic threat and evading arrest or detention.
Langley has past work experience in welding and construction.
Authorities say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters may call the state Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS ( 8477)
