Army family burglarized travelling to Fort Hood

A soldier and his family on the way to Fort Hood have lost all of their belongings because of a crook.

Sgt. Jesse Sturm, his wife and children stopped in Tulsa, Oklahoma last weekend while on their way to Fort Hood to attend his sister’s wedding.

They parked their SUV and U-Haul in a parking lot and a thief broke in and drove off with it. The only thing left behind was shattered glass.

“I am still kind of in shock. Why would somebody do this?,” Sgt. Jesse asks.

“We have to press on. We are going to be moving into an empty house with nothing to put in it,” says wife Wendy Sturm.

The Sturms have set up a GoFundMe account to raise money to replace the stolen goods. If you would like to make a donation, you can go here.
