Arrest made in violent robbery that included gunfire

Bond has been set at $100,000 for a 24-year-old Killeen man accused of firing shots during a robbery a year ago.

Se’von Anthony Gambrell was booked into the Bell County Jail Tuesday after earlier being picked up by Killeen police.

Gambrell was charged with aggravated robbery, a first degree felony, in connection with the incident that occurred about 3:00 a.m. April 19, 2018.

Police were called to the 1200 block of Covey Lane on a report of shots being fired.

When officers got there,  they found shell casings and the victim of the robbery.

The victim told police he had been held up at gunpoint.

Officers were able to determine the identity of a suspect in the case and obtained an arrest warrant.

Gambrell was located in the 3700 block of Ida Drive in Killeen with the assistance of the US Marshal Service Lone Star Fugitive Task force.
