We are getting a look into what happened the days before deputies arrested Christopher Weiss on suspicion he killed Valerie Martinez and her one-year-old daughter Azariah at Tradinghouse Lake.

According to a search warrant affidavit, Martinez told Weiss’s wife and sister Azariah was his daughter.

Investigators say Weiss later told his sister he didn’t want anything to with Martinez or the child, and wanted it to “go away”.

During a search of Weiss’s white 2010 Dodge Ram, deputies say they found a rifle, a .45 caliber handgun, two empty magazines, a phone, and several other items including birth certificates.
