Bellmead police say that an argument over child custody got physical Thursday, leading to an arrest on charges of injury to a child.

Police had been meeting with one person reporting the physical disturbance at the police station when they got a call from a hotel in the 1300 block of Behrens Circle from the other party in the same disturbance.

When the details were sorted out, police arrested 36-year-old Joshua Robert Terry on two counts of injury to a child and took him to jail.

The police report accuses Terry of injuring two juvenile females, one of whom was his daughter by pushing one and grabbing the other.

Police said they could see visible injuries on both girls, who are aged 13 and 9.
