Residents of Robinson paying for utility or court services with a debit/credit card will be responsible for the convenience fees charged by the credit card company starting July 1.
There will be a 3.5 percent fee charged for utility payments and a 6.5 percent fee charged for court payments. This change will save the city approximately $25,000 over the next year.
There are also other ways for customers to make payments instead of utilizing a debit/credit card:
– Bank Draft – This option drafts your account the day your payment is due and can be setup by filling out a form found on our website.
– Online Banking – This option is where your bank sends the payment on your behalf and can be set up within the pay bills portion of your online banking account.
– Payments in Person – Cash and check payments can be made in person Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., unless City Hall is closed for a holiday.
– Mail or Drop-Off payment – Check payments can be mailed along with your bill to the City of Robinson, 111 W. Lyndale, Robinson, TX 76706 or placed in the overnight box located at City Hall. The overnight box is accessible from Lyndale in a circle drive located right past the entrance into the City Hall parking lot. Payments can be dropped in the overnight box.
