College Station PD searching for robbery suspect

The College Station Police Department is searching for a suspect involved in a robbery.

College Station Police officers responded to 1705 Anderson Street on Tuesday afternoon for a report of a robbery which took place.

The victim in this case reported they were physically assaulted by a person unknown to him in order to take property from him. The victim stated he was not injured in the assault and did not require any medical treatment at the scene.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the possible suspect involved.

The suspect was described as an African-American at about 5’10”, 200 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt, long blue denim shorts, sunglasses, a hat and having a “chin beard”.

This robbery offense is a felony of the second degree, and is punishable by two to 20 years in prison – with a fine of up to $10,000.
