The Texas Medical Board says they are temporarily suspending the medical license for Dr. John Middlemiss Palmer.
The board says the decision was made after determining his continuation of practicing medicine poses a threat to the public.
Palmer was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography by the Attorney General’s Office.
The suspension will be in place until the board takes further action.
