Donuts shop fight caught on camera

A donuts shop brawl caught on camera.

The video posted to social media drawing anger and concern. KISD school officials say the incident happened Thursday at the Best Donuts across the street from Ellison High School.

It was former Ellion High School student Kadarius Green who caught it all, and posted the video.

“Like she was calling the kid that was there names, racial names like the n-word and stuff. It started from there and Ii just kept on going and then it escalated to that. He said he was going to go get his sisters, he came back with his sisters and it just went from there,” said Green.

The now-former student is seen jumping up onto the counter and watches as two of his adult family members jumped over the counter and assault the employee.

“The Ellison student is the one who jumped up on the counter in the video with his shirt off and was jumping up and down on the counter. But the people who jumped over the counter and were involved in the assault or not students. They are not connected with the school at all,”

said Killeen ISD Spokesperson Terry Abbott. He says Killeen PD and Killeen ISD Police are now investigating.

“This video, it shows some adults behaving very badly and they should get prosecuted for it” said Abbott.

But there’s more…witnesses sent FOX44 news new video, defending the teen and his families actions saying it shows the employee hitting the teen first and throwing racial slurs before the video on social media was posted. We’ve still not been able to confirm what started the fight and other witness have declined to comment.

According to KISD, the teens parents withdrew him from the district after he was suspended
because they are moving out of state.

The donut shop owners are not talking, and the store was closed Friday.

Fox 44 news just received new video, potentially showing another piece of the altercation before Greens’ video was posted on social media.

More of those details tonight at 9pm

Witnesses tell Fox 44 news that there’s another video showing the employee hitting and throwing racial slurs at the teen, but so far no one has come forward with that video.
