An investigation following a raid and search warrant service that turned up drugs and weapons has resulted in the arrest of 55-year-old Ray Espinoza of Temple.
Police obtained the warrant for Espinoza after they had served a search warrant last Thursday at a home in the 200 block of East Downs Avenue.
Agents with the Temple Police Department Special Investigation Unit and SWAT team made entry into the home at 8:24 a.m.and found Espinoza and three others inside.
Police spokesperson Shawana Neely said that in the front room where Espinoza was located, officers found a clear bag containing methamphetamine and several items of paraphernalia including pipes and digital scales and a grocery bag containing marijuana.
A blue and gray fanny pack located on the floor was found to contain two handguns, a Hi-point 9 millimeter semi-automatic and a Hi-point 380 semi-automatic.
