The Temple Fire Department reported a heavy structure fire on Friday night. 

The fire took place at a residence on the corner of N. 1st and W. French. The fire was reported as under control at 9:03 p.m. 

A family of four has been displaced, and they are staying with their relatives. 

The occupants were not home at the time of the fire. 

No injuries have been reported at this time. 

Fire damage was done to the rear porch, back bedroom and attic. 

Investigators are working to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
