Fire turns into burglary investigation

College Station police are looking into an early morning car fire that erupted Sunday.

That fire turned into a burglary investigation  when police responded to the area of Rock Prairie Rd and William D. Fitch parkway in reference to a vehicle fire.

When they arrived, they located a dump truck and put the fire out.

But the fire led officers to the City of College Station Forestry building located at 7090 Rock Prairie Rd.

There they discovered that the building had been burglarized and the truck was taken from a work bay.
Several hardware tools were also taken.

No arrests have been made at this time.
