Temple Fire and Rescue crews say five people are out of a home after an overnight house fire at 715 North 5^th Street. 

Investigators say they got the call around 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning for a reported house fire. When crews got on scene, they saw flames coming from the home. 

Crews were told there was still one person inside the home, but that proved to be wrong. Crews found only heavy smoke and no one inside the home. 

The American Red Cross is helping family after investigators say the home is a total loss.
