Former Hewitt City councilman Kurt Krakowian has officially filed a civil rights complaint against the city of Hewitt.

He tells Fox 44 that he feels the city violated his civil rights by preventing him from attending a city council meeting, during which his resignation was being finalized.

The councilman says this doesn’t mean he is filing a lawsuit against the city for now.

Krakowian and Mayor Ed Passalugo have been accused of mistreating city employees who filed harassment and discrimination claims against them.
