Groesbeck ISD announced Thursday morning that a student at Groesbeck Middle School has passed away. Counselors are at the school to support students and staff.
Groesbeck Superintendent James B. Cowley released the following statement:
The administration, teachers, and staff extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family. Our main concern is supporting this family, the extended family, and our student body during this tragic event.“
The district also advised students and families to call (254)729-4100 if they are in need of counseling support.
Right now, there is no word on the cause of death.
