A man accused of robbing the Wells Fargo Bank at 3407 South 31st Street in Temple on February 20 has entered a guilty plea to the charges in U.S. District Court in Waco.
A federal complaint had named Ronnie Lee Tanner Jr as the man accused of entering the bank about 3:00 p.m. that Friday afternoon, handing a note to the teller demanding the money, the fleeing the bank with an estimated $4,000.
Tanner could face up to twenty years in prison.
Sentencing will be at a future date.
