Hewitt PD searching for suspect in Indecent Exposure case

Local

Hewitt Police need your help to find a man who exposed himself to a convenience store clerk.

Chief Jim Devlin released surveillance video to FOX44 News in hopes the public may be able to identify the man.

The incident happened at the Cefco gas station off 739 Sun Valley Boulevard in Hewitt.

The man came out of the bathroom, looked around to make sure he and the clerk were alone, and then exposed himself to the clerk.

The clerk stayed calm as the man paid with his credit card, got a bag for his drink, and then left. The clerk stayed there for a few minutes before calling police.

“It’s a pretty bold incident to do that. And so, if somebody is willing to go to that level, we need to get this guy off the streets,” Devlin says.

The man left the gas station in a gold Cadillac.

If you recognize the man in the pictures below, or know where he may be, you are urged to contact the Hewitt Police Department at 254-666-6272.
