A traffic stop caught on a Hewitt Police camera turned into a high-speed chase.
After officers pulled a man over for speeding just before 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, he took off and led them on a race down Sun Valley Boulevard – then went into Moody – going almost 100 miles per hour.
The chase ended with 51-year-old Tadd York, of Belton, crashing in a ditch.
Officers found him thrown from his van unconscious. They believe he had been drinking.
York now faces a charge of evading arrest.
