Killeen police seek diamond ring thieves


Killeen police are looking for two men who stole a diamond ring worth over $20,000 from a local jewelry store.

Police say it happened about 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Zales Jewelry Store at 2100 S.W. Young Drive.

Officers were told two men entered the store and asked to look at a ring.

When the store employee was allowing one of the men to look at the ring, both turned and ran out of the store taking the ring with them.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his twenties with a small afro haircut and brown eyes, last seen wearing a black and yellow jogging suit with a jaguar or lion logo on the front and back.

The second suspect is described as a black male also in his twenties, with short black hair and brown eyes, last wearing blue jeans, white shoes, a white tank top and blue jean jacket with ” Nicki Minaj” on the back.

Both men ran out of the store in an unknown direction with a ring valued at over $20,000.

Police say they may been in a white sedan.
