Killeen ISD reports one of their veteran educators has won two teacher-of-the-year awards this year.
Brenda Drawdy teaches at the KISD Career Center.
She has not only been named Texas Industrial Vocational Association Teacher of the Year, but also was named the Texas Association for Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year.
Drawdy is a 46-year veteran educator who has worked 16 years for Killeen ISD.
“Ms. Drawdy makes a huge difference in the lives of our students every day. She deserves these awards. We’re proud of her,” Superintendent John Craft said.
