Man accused of dragging clerk with car

Temple Police arrest a young man for robbery.

On June 29, officers responded to a Cefco convenience store, located on 3805 S 31st Street, in reference to a robbery.

A 911 caller told police a navy blue Nissan pulled into the parking lot, and that a young man entered the store, picked up a twelve-pack of Coors Light and exited the store without paying for it.

The caller also said the suspect got in the front passenger seat of the Nissan, driven by another man.

The caller told police he went to the vehicle and the passenger grabbed his right arm, and the caller was dragged on the ground as the car started and drove off.

The caller had visible injuries to his right arm, stomach and right leg. He says the vehicle ran over his right leg.

EMS arrived at the scene, but the caller refused medical treatment.

The store video was unable to be retrieved.

A warrant was issued for 22-year-old Levi Garrett Miller, who was subsequently arrested for robbery.
