Man charged in robbery and beating of woman

Waco police say they have tracked down a man they believe entered a Waco home, beat a woman and took about $2,000 in cash from her.

Kent Rafael Outley was arrested Tuesday on a charge of aggravated robbery with his bond set at $250,000.

He had previously been out on bond on drug and theft of firearm charges.

Waco Police Department spokesman Patrick Swanton says the incident with which he is charged occurred February 8 about 9:00 p.m. in the 1600 block of Barron Avenue.

He is accused attacking a 25-year-old woman, displaying a firearm and striking her in the head before taking her money.
