A 56-year-old Bell County man has been arrested by sheriff’s deputies accused of sexual assault of a girl under the age of 14.
Investigators began their investigation August 12 when the victim first made an outcry,
The special crimes unit got the case and identified 56-year-old Alan Wayne Raper as their suspect.
Justice of the Peace Barfield issued an arrest warrant and Raper was picked up Friday by the Bell County Sheriff’s Department and booked into the Bell County Jail.
His bond was set at $150,000.
