A man arrested after a standoff near Moffat has entered a guilty plea to charges he robbed the First National Bank of Killeen.
Sentencing will come at a later date for Kevin Dewayne Smith.
He was accused of entering the bank at 4304 East Central Texas Expressway March 1, giving a teller a note demanding money, then fleeing the bank in a black pickup truck.
He was later spotted near Moffat and barricaded himself inside a structure.
He refused to communicate with a SWAT team called to that location.
They later forced entry into the structure and took him into custody.
It was a big day for bank robber cases in U.S. District Court in Waco Tuesday, as two other men also entered guilty pleas in connection with two other, separate bank robberies.
