A man wanted in connection with a 2015 fatal accident in Hill County has been arrested by Limestone County deputies working another case all together.
Aubrey Justin McQueen was arrested Saturday as Limestone County deputies were conducting an investigation at the Fort Parker Motel on Highway 14 in Mexia.
After he was in custody, it was found that there were two warrants for intoxicated manslaughter out for him.
McQueen had been indicted by the Hill County Grand Jury back in 2016 on the charges in Hill County in connection with the deaths of two passengers who died as a result of a crash that occurred November 5, 2015 on Highway 171 one and a half miles east of Hillsboro.
Investigating troopers reported at the time that the accident was a single vehicle rollover.
The vehicle, driven by McQueen was westbound on Highway 171, went off the road and rolled over.
It came to rest on its side and caught fire.
McQueen and one passenger were ejected.
Twenty-two year old Bailey Hogan of Kirvin was pronounced dead at the scene.
McQueen and another passenger, 37-year-old Shannon Moring of Fairfield were taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco where Moring later died.
After his arrest Saturday, McQueen was transported to the Limestone County Jail with his bond set at $50,000 on each of the two counts of intoxicated manslaughter.
Arrested at the same time on charges unrelated to the fatal crash was Stacey Remple who was held on a Limestone County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
