MCC head softball coach resigns

McLennan Community College Head Softball Coach Manuel Ordones has resigned from his position.

According to the college, Flores’s resignation was effective as of May 2.

This comes after Ordones was under investigation and placed on administrative leave on April 30, and is happening at a pivotal point in the season – after McLennan finished up their regular season.

Ordones has been the head softball coach at McLennan for 15 years. He led them to two conference titles, four regional titles and four national tournaments during this time.
