New steel bridge in Cameron Park now open to public

A newly-constructed 32-foot steel bridge on Cameron Park’s popular River Trail is now open to the public.

The bike/pedestrian bridge is installed over a wide drainage area in between Mouth of the Bosque and Lover’s Leap.

The bridge was an idea from the Waco Bicycle Club, and the project cost the city about $58,000.
