Waco police report that a young girl made an outcry at her school that led to the arrest of a man who she said had been abusing her.
36-year-old Michael Howard was arrested over the weekend and booked into the McLennan County Jail on three counts of sexual assault and an additional charge of assault with a previous conviction.

Police say the female victim made the outcry at school, with school personnel relaying the information to police March 21 with the investigation beginning at that time.
The female victim under 17 told police she had been assaulted multiple times at various locations around town beginning after the first of the year.
The suspect was arrested at a north Waco residence without incident with his bond set at a total of $100,000.
