Temple Police arrest two men suspected of assault

Temple Police have arrested two men suspected of assaulting a man and his co-worker.

On November 18, the victim said while he was working on a job site near the intersection of Westfield Boulevard and Prairie View Drive that afternoon, three men drove up in a white SUV and a small blue car.

The men got out of the vehicle and approached the victim and his co-worker. He says one of the men pushed him off of a six-foot retaining wall. The victim said the other men walked up and started assaulting him, as well. 

The victim said this caused him pain and discomfort, and he did wish to press charges. This case is still active.

On January 3, 2019, one of the suspects – identified as 34-year-old Timothy Nyquist – was arrested for a warrant of Assault with Bodily Injury.

On February 8, 2019, another suspect – identified as 43-year-old Kristopher Case Walden – was arrested after officers responded to a verbal disturbance at the Twin Oaks Apartments that morning. Walden was found in possession of methamphetamine, and is also charged with Assualt with Bodily Injury from the case this previous November.
