The Texas Department of Transportation will temporarily change the traffic pattern at the entrance of Keys Creek, off of FM-3051 (Steinbeck Bend), on Monday through Thursday.
TxDOT says a temporary pavement surface will be created in order to accommodate two-way traffic on the inbound lane at the east side of the entrance to Keys Creek and allow the construction contractor to work on the outbound lane on the west side of the entrance.
The work will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
This project began in February and will create a turn-lane from FM-3051 which will enhance mobility and increase traffic safety at the location. The work is scheduled for completion by early summer, weather permitting.
TxDOT is also cautioning travelers to be alert for construction personnel and equipment in the work area.
